Also, Jason Kidd had a lot of great plays and assists. There was also great defensive plays by Jason Kidd. Kidd was also happy to see all of his old teammates on the Mavs. Anyway, Tyson Chandler had great plays as well including his awesome dunk. Raymond Felton had a pretty good game as well. FOOTBALL SUNDAY
Football Sunday:
Giants make the big play...again!! Despite an awesome performance by Redskin rookie quarterback Robert Griffins, the Giants held on to win 27-23 in another pressure packed two minute drill. Their big win at Metlife Stadium all happened with young wide receiver, Victor Cruz. He caught a pass from Eli Manning in the end and ran for a touchdown to win the game. Congratulations to the Giants for their much needed win against their division rivals!
The Jets, an the other hand, were not so happy about the turnout of their game. The New York Jets and New England Patriots had such a hard fought game that they had to go into overtime. Tom Brady and his prolific offense took the ball down the field so their kicker Gostkowski could split the uprights before the Sanchez fumbled the ball to end the game in spectacular fashion. All in all the Jets played a very good game and hope to practice hard all week and kick some butt next weekend.

YANKEES....OUT!!!
The New York Yankees have lost the ALCS. In fact, they got swept. This was not their year. ARod and the rest of the team could not hit a beach ball if they tried. Jeter broke his ankle and our pitchers did well, but not well enough. Detroit, on the other hand, had really clutch hitting and lights out pitching. That's all the difference they needed to beat the Yanks. Next year the Yankees need to pick up a few guys who can hit consistently in the clutch and don't fold when their captain goes out with an injury. Hats off to the Yankees though, for an otherwise great 2012 season!P.S. Now that the Yankees are out. I will be covering NY football, hockey and basketball once their seasons get going.

Big Football Sunday in NY
NY FOOTBALL: Both Jets and Giants cream opponents to add a win to the win column.
Giants: The Giants showed up in San Francisco today!!! They creamed the 49ers 26-3. Eli Manning and Ahmad Bradshaw were on fire. Eli threw for 193 yards and had 1 touchdown. Bradshaw rushed for 116 yards and scored a touchdown as well. On the other side of the ball, safety Rolle intercepted 2 passes. Also, Prince Aukamara picked off one too. Overall, the NY Giants played a great game.
Jets: Back in East Rutherford, the Jets showed up with their game faces on. On offense the Jets put up a whopping 35 points. Shonn Green rushed for 161 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. He was the main player today. Both Sanchez and Tebow did very well . On D, the Jets only held star rookie Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and his offense to 9 points.
It was a great way to end the football weekend in NY for both teams.

Yankees Need a Win... Fast
What has happened to the Yankees? In the ALDS, the Yankees played very well, but not perfect, just like any other playoff team. However, now in the ALCS, just with a blink of an eye, the Yankees have fell to a 2-0 deficit, leaving Yankee Stadium and going into Detroit. In game three, the Tigers hope to keep their hot hitting with Prince Fielder and Miguel Cabrerea up. They also have their right handed ace, Justin Verlander on the mound, determined to shut the Yanks lineup down to gain a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. Without Derek Jeter, Yankees fans think they have no hope left. However, the Yanks still have great pitching and a dangerous lineup that can jack up the score whenever they decide to start hitting. Overall, the Yankees must win tomorrow night to get some momentum going and try to win the series. **Video below: Raul hits won in the twelfth of game 3 of the ALDS giving the Yanks a 2-1 lead to go on to the ALCS. We could use a lot more of this, this week!!
